You’ve come to the right place! We here at DEPDC/GMS are recruiting international volunteers who would like to work in human trafficking prevention in northern Thailand.
DEPDC/GMS is a non-profit, non-governmental organization headquartered in Mae Sai, Thailand. The organization works to prevent young girls and boys from being trafficked into exploitative working conditions such as commercial sex work and forced labor. DEPDC/GMS does this by focusing on education, protection, community outreach and youth leadership development.
Since its inception in 1989, DEPDC/GMS has welcomed volunteers from all over the world. Volunteers are essential to DEPDC/GMS as they share their experiences, expertise, skills and culture to help aid the running of projects and contribute to the organization’s growth. Volunteers also gain international experience, develop new relationships, and partake in rewarding and meaningful work. It is a fulfilling experience for all involved – one that creates memories for a lifetime!
