ImPressed: Wai Khru Day

“Wai Khru Day”

This is a flower offering made by one of the Half Day School (HDS) students for the Wai Khru ceremony (พิธีไหว้ครู), also dubbed “Teacher Appreciation Day”. The ceremony is a Thai ritual held near the start of each new school year, in which students pay respects to their teachers and express their gratitude to them.

#4 in our new series “ImPressed by DEPDC/GMS” featuring impressions from our children, youth and staff.
